Collaborative Work with the media artist and programmer Michael Käsdorf, 2014

'Intruder' is a mesh construction with three light balls woven into the mesh. The work deals with the communication with a foreign entity. People are required to observe and understand the way the system communicates. The system invites the viewer to engage with it: as soon as one ball flashes and one person touches that ball, the next one flashes. When all balls are touched simultaneously, the system emits a permanent light signal. To reach this state, three people must enter the system. The work provokes the experience of collective thinking and overcoming the fear of being close. 'Intruder' encourages us to rethink our way of communicating.
