Astrid Kraniger (* Munich, Germany) is a multimedia artist. She works at the intersection between art and technology. In her installations, she explores the aesthetics and concepts of nature in their application to technology. She designs drafts, illusions and constructions of alien systems and parallel worlds to ask questions about our role and our behaviour as a human being between technology and nature. She experiments with paintings and with code in the field of interactive installations, computer graphics and webdesign. She completed her Fine Arts and Multimedia studies at the Ludwigs-Maximilian-University in Munich in 2016 and is now studying in the Digital Class of the University of the Arts in Berlin.
